From season 2022/23 we will be using two venues for our dances: The Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria Hotel and Tapton Hall
With its grand exterior and lavish function rooms, the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria creates a picturesque back drop for a prestigious and exciting night to remember.
We have held dances at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria in Sheffield since 1980 with it’s elegant ballroom.
This historic and elegant hotel is ideally located in the city centre of Sheffield. Just half a mile from Sheffield Railway Station, Bus Stations and the Sheffield Supertram network. For those guests travelling to the hotel by car, the hotel is easy accessible from junction 33 of the M1 Motorway and is situated at the end of its’ own private drive. The hotel has 240 car spaces on site with free parking for attendees to our dances.
Tapton Hall is an elegant and historic venue for our events.
It was built in 1855 by Edward Vickers on the site of the former Tapton Lodge and in 1965 the Sheffield Masonic Hall Company acquired the house and added the extension with its distinctive custom designed sculpted entrance façade.
The venue is located just to the west of the City Centre with free parking for 200 vehicles.
